The film Black Swan looks set to be a great visual reference point for Spring Summer 2011 with its amazing cinematography & will no doubt create a few micro trends as a result.

The Trend Boutique are really excited for the release of Black Swan in January next year, after hearing it has received 12 Critics Choice nominations. In the traditions of Moulin Rouge & Tim Burtons Alice in Wonderland this film looks set to make a huge impact on visual trends for 2011 with its clever cinematography.Black Swan has been nominated for Best Picture, Best Actress Portman, Best Supporting Actress Kunis, Best Director Aronofsky, Best Original Screenplay, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Costume Design, Best Makeup, Best Sound and Best Score.  It has also been featured in the Toronto film festival and the Venice film festival in 2010. Natalie Portman plays Nina, a ballerina of a New York City ballet company whose life, like all those in her profession, is completely consumed with dance
